My motivation to capture images of the natural world comes from my deep appreciation for Mother Earth and the living beings that call this planet home. I share with them a connectedness and reverence for an unspoiled environment that nurtures our bodies and spirit. By using vivid color and representational images, I try to record the essence of 'wildness' and portray it's harmonious balance and awesome beauty in hopes of influencing future generations to preserve the untamed, untroddened, sacred sights that remain. Along with Thoreau I believe that, "In wildness is the preservation of the world."
